The event brings together faith actors that are accredited to the UNEP to showcase their efforts in using faith as an instrument to foster dialogue for environmental policymaking with a narrowed focus on the activities of selected organizations towards combating climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. The event will also show the role of faith in informing government positions within the multilateral arena. Drawing from experiences in the UNFCCC, UNCBD and UNEA processes, the organizations will show how they have been able to influence policy at international levels and across different multilateral platforms while informing grassroots action as informed by faith. The event will also provide practical insights on breaking barriers to create meaningful partnerships through the interfaith collaborations and engagements within the multilateral processes.
